Who we are

Since 1981, the Southern Alberta Safety Alliance Society (Safety City) has been delivering safety and injury prevention programs to the youth of Medicine Hat and surrounding areas. These programs provide our young people with the information they need to make better life choices and avoid unfortunate and life impacting incidents.

Programs are wide ranging and include topics such as Cyber Safety, Anti-bullying and Conflict Management. Program delivery is either at the Safety City facility or direct to students through classroom presentations.

Being a not-for profit our programs rely heavily on community based funding and sponsorships to ensure there continued development and delivery. With the generous support of volunteers, corporate sponsors, individuals and other community organizations, we can continue offering these programs to our youth, helping to keep our community safe.
